Column Sentry FIT
The Column Sentry FIT is an adjustable column protector that provides a solution for different sizes of columns. Unlike traditional column protectors that consist of two parts, the FIT is a system of four interlocking parts that fit together like puzzle pieces. The parts are aligned with each other for corner-to-corner protection. As a result, the
depth of the safety zone the same regardless of the dimensions of the column. The patented air chamber directs energy away from the impact
of the column to minimise the force of the forklift's impact.
Adaptability of column protection
The Column Sentry FIT Small is adaptable for columns from 100 x 100 mm to 200 x 200 mm. The FIT Medium is adaptable for columns from 200 x 200 mm to 300 x 300 mm. Easy installation with Velcro straps. The FIT is made of a proprietary blend of polyethylene and vinyl. All variants are 1 metre high and they are stackable for extra protection.
Column Sentry FIT EXTENSION KIT
The FIT Extension Kit is a system of parts that can be added to the Column Sentry FIT Small to extend protection for taller columns or separately sized columns. The extension parts engage with the original column protector, so that they fit together seamlessly. Each extension part adds 250 mm of protection. Multiple parts can be used. Extending the column protection does not weaken the safety zone. The extension sections are made of expanded polypropylene: a material that provides extremely effective pressure resistance and can withstand multiple impacts without compromising structural integrity. The Extension Kit is recommended for application to solid columns and should be used in conjunction with the Column Sentry FIT Small.
