The most common warehouse labels are yellow with a black print and made of vinyl or another plastic. If the labels have a barcode or QR code, they are used as location labels. Once several locations on top of each other have to be scannable from the bottom girder, we work with a combination label with separate colours per girder. In the height above the label, these colours are repeated per girder, creating a clear working structure.
Thanks to the combination label, scanning can be done from the ground and there is no need to go up the shelves to scan the higher levels. A particularly practical and secure solution. Goods are attributed to each labelled location. When putting away and retrieving these goods, the location label is scanned each time.
